Gillian Flude

High School Intern

Gillian is currently in Grade 12 at Barrie Central Collegiate in Barrie, ON.  She has been working for CAP Consulting over the past two years as a high school intern, helping with data entry and transcription.  She has enjoyed hearing the stories of girls, parents, and staff through the interviews conducted for the Girls’ Fund, as well as the experiences of clients from the Passport Program, and other projects with which she has been involved.  

Gillian enjoys playing the piano and is an avid traveller, having already travelled to over 20 countries in her short but interesting life! In her grade 10 year she completed a three-month French exchange in Troyes, France and she is looking forward to more travelling during a gap year between high school and university.  Gillian has not yet decided on a field of study at university – she’s still exploring her options and looks forward to continuing doing work for CAP Consulting in the meantime.
