Natasha Alcalde Lawton

Research Assistant

Natasha Alcalde Lawton has been working in various capacities for CAP Consulting for over 7 years. Through her work at CAP Consulting and other experiences and studies, Natasha has developed tools and skills that fit seamlessly with the philosophies embodied at CAP. Natasha's strengths lie in communications, writing, critical thinking, organization and creative elements, which she brings to the projects at CAP Consulting across the board. She has taken on a variety of roles within CAP Consulting, including running social media, and designing and administering the CAP Consulting website, qualitative data coding, editing and administrative tasks. 

Natasha is a student at York University, finishing her Bilingual BA in English Literature, and hopes to one day work in the academic field. Her interests lie in not just literature itself, but also in the ways in which the written word affects the reader, especially the child reader and the "othered" reader. Although bound for work outside of the research consulting field, she finds her interests often overlap with those of CAP Consulting and provide a practical application of these interests. She hopes to continue working with the team and can't wait to see where her work with CAP Consulting leads her.
